From SONNENHÖFE you only need five minutes by car to the Berlin-Schönefeld Airport, as well as the new Berlin Airport. You can reach the A113 or the B96a just as fast. There is also a connection to public transportation. In just three minutes you are at the closest bus stop, in five minutes by bus at the Schönefeld S-Bahn station, and from there you can get to Berlin-Mitte in 25 minutes by train.

When will the project be finished?
The part B has already been completed. The completion of the part C is expected to take place at October,01 2021.
Is there a minimum rental period?
Yes, there is a minimum rental period of 12 months. The lease can be terminated with 3 months notice.
Does the price of rent change with the duration of the contract?
Yes, the lease includes an index-linked rent. The rent is determined by the price index for the living expenses of all private households in Germany, which is determined by the Federal Statistical Office.
How much is the deposit and are there any one-time costs?
As with most all rental agreements, the deposit to be paid is three net cold rents (the net cold rent plus utilities can be found in the rental agreement). There are no processing or agency fees.
How is the deposit to be paid?
The deposit must be transferred to the landlord’s secure account according to § 551 Paragraph 2 BGB.
How are the apartments equipped?
You can find an overview of the apartments at: https://sonnenhoefe-schoenefeld.de/. However, the apartments come with a fully equipped kitchen, high quality vinyl flooring, as well as floor heating in the bathrooms and a balcony or terrace.
Are there car and bicycle parking on the property?
There are adequate underground parking garage spots, some of which have e-charging stations, as well as outdoor parking spots available for you.
The monthly costs are:
• from 40€ for outdoor parking spots
• from 65€ for underground parking garage spots
• from 75€ for underground parking garage spots with an e-charging station.
There are plenty of bicycle parking spots in the courtyard for no charge. There are also a limited amount of lockable bicycle garages outside, which cost 15€ a month for 2 bicycles.
Who is the telephone, internet and TV provider?
The cost of the utilities include a “basic service” through DNS:NET. They have installed a fiber-optic home network system in order to provide television, internet and telephony. There is additionally another fiber line from Telekom. This means there are two available network connections in the media distributor.
All DSL providers, such as 1&1, Arcor or Alice, can ensure internet connection and telephony.
Providers who do not have a DSL connection due to coaxial cables and not fiber optics, are not compatible with the fiber optic network.
Are pets allowed?
Generally, yes. However, approval from the owner is required.
Where can the washing machines and dryers be stored?
All apartments come with a washing machine connection.
Is the renter responsible for cleaning the house and the pathways?
No, the owner hires an external provider for this. The renter pays for this as a part of the operating costs.
Who are the persons in charge?
The Müller Merkle Immobilien team is responsible for rentals. The property management company, Albrecht Gebrüder, is responsible once you have signed the rental agreement and are ready for the handover of the apartment. You will receive their contact details when the rental agreement is finalized. The property management company is your go-to point of contact during the rental period.
